Skin food: Oysters in a simple red vinaigrette

Oysters aren't just a luxury treat, thanks to discovering that Ocado currently has them stocked for home delivery. They were on offer when I purchased them as well, which is a huge bonus! Oysters are a powerful skin food as they are rich in zinc, which supports skin healing, reducing inflammation, and oil production. They’re also packed with vitamin B12 and omega-3 fatty acids. And selenium, which is an important mineral and antioxidant, is a powerful beauty ingredient.

For me, the best way to enjoy them is with a simple vinaigrette: finely mince a small shallot, and mix with a couple of tablespoons of red wine vinegar and a pinch of sea salt.
